Will my app work?

Andremul runs Google's official Android emulator with Google Play, so most apps made for Android tablets run as they would on a tablet. These are the things that decide it.

• Your app is on Google PlayYou install it from the Play Store inside Andremul, signed in with your Google account.
• Your Mac has Apple siliconAny Mac with an M1 chip or later. To check, choose Apple menu > About This Mac and look for "Chip".
• It's fine on a 10-inch landscape tabletAndremul presents Android as a landscape tablet, which suits kitchen displays, order screens, booking and signage apps.
• It needs paired hardwareCard readers, receipt printers, barcode scanners and other Bluetooth or USB accessories aren't supported.
• It only runs on certified devicesSome apps, mostly banking and payment apps, use a Google check that only real, certified phones and tablets pass. They'll refuse to start on any emulator.
• It's a gameGames may run, but Andremul isn't built or tuned for them.
